1,601 Young Badminton Athletes Compete PB Djarum Glory JAKARTA - Around 1,601 young badminton athletes from various regions in Indonesia compete to breakthrough PB Djarum through the PB Djarum 2026 General Audition. They competed on September 9-13, 2026 at GOR Djarum, Jati, Kudus, Central Java, to obtain the Djarum Badminton Scholarship and the opportunity to join the PB Djarum coaching club. We believe that regeneration is the key to keeping Indonesian badminton still exist in the future," he said. Participants in the PB Djarum 2026 General Audition come from Sumatra to Papua. They are divided into three age categories, namely U-11, KU-11, and KU-12, men and women. Kudus is the third city to hold the PB Djarum 2026 General Audition after previously being held in Pekanbaru in July and Makassar in August.

The talent search process is carefully carried out by paying attention to the ability of the participants in the field, namely basic techniques, footwork, racket grip, strokes, smashes, body posture, to mental and game strategies that are considered as the main capital in long-term coaching. In the screening stage which was held on September 9-10, participants must undergo one game match up to 21 points without deuce or set, then continue to the tournament stage on September 11-13 to determine the participants who are entitled to get the Super Ticket.

For male participants must reach the semifinals to get a Super Ticket, while female participants must reach the finals.
Apart from the achievement track on the field, the Talent Search Team can also provide a Super Ticket of Choice to participants who are considered to have great potential even though they do not reach the specified round. Not the end of the journey of the participants, those who get it will carry out a four-week quarantine at the Djarum PB dormitory to experience the life of an athlete and undergo assessments of discipline, technique, and quality in general before finally being appointed as PB Djarum athletes.
